Vitrium I Spells and Tools Pack

 

Introduction

Vitrium includes two whetstones (normal & crystal version), a hammer, acidic berry extract potion and two spells: crystal ward & hunters instinct.
Each spell and tool type come with their own custom animations, which brings more immersion and difficulty as it takes time to apply each effect, so you have to be aware of your surrounding when using them.

• Whetstones - Increases melee attack damage for a period of time  - Crafted at smelters
• Hammer - Increases blocking effectiveness for a period of time - Crafted at forges
• Acidic berry extract - heals for 100 hp - Crafted at cooking pots
• Hunters instinct - Gain enhanced vision to seek out preys - Spell tome buyable from mage vendors
• Crystal ward - Cast a 80 damage withstanding ward that stays in front of player - Spell tome buyable from mage vendors

Recipes and spell tome prices are preliminary that I'll fine tune along the way. Animations work only in 3rd person player exclusive. Also animations won't play while jumping, swimming or sheathing.

Requirements & Recommendations

Requirements:

• Dynamic Animation Replacer
• Address Library for SKSE Plugins
• Skyrim Script Extender

Recommendations:

• True Directional Movement - allows you rotate camera and player freely (Head tracking might affect animations a little)
• Simple Dual Sheath or All Geared Up Derivative SE - see your equipment (Remember to have "keep shield in hand while equipped enabled!) (AllGUD patch maybe  in the future)
• Healing FX and Shield Wards - if you want spectral shield as your crystal ward

Install - updating - compatibility

Installing:

• Install with a mod manager of your choice and sort load order if needed
• There is no need to run FNIS nor Nemesis after installing because this is not dependent of them
• Uninstalling mid game should be safe as these scripts only run when using tools or spells. Though it should be noted that uninstalling any .esp mid-playthrough can cause problems. 

Compatibility:

• Should be compatible with every mod
• ESL-flagged esp
• Scripts only run when using the items, no perma cloak spells
• Ritualspell_charge.hkx animation replacers with a higher number than the DAR folders in this mod will overwrite these animations and cause them to not work. Change folder number to lower than 69000

Updating:

• Unless otherwise mentioned updating mid-game is safe, just replace the old file and you are good to go!
